  Stayed at the resort this past August and while I was very excited to savor the Biltmore experience, unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations and memory. I was an employee of the resort in the mid-70's and have stayed as a guest many times over the years as well as attending weddings and various business functions. The Biltmore has always been known for it's superior service and attention to their guests. At dinner the first night, we received substandard service from our server. Twice, a server attempted to deliver food to our table that we hadn't ordered, the main server neglected to deliver water or drinks, no bread was served. We communicated our displeasure with the Restaurant Manager, she offered us a free appetizer which we declined because we felt it would more food than we could eat. Nothing else was offered and she went on her way. The food unfortunately was mediocre at best. Our room contained a half used bottle of lotion in the bathroom and a sheet and pillowcase that were stained.

  I've stayed at The Biltmore twice, and both stays have been exceptional. The resort employees are extremely friendly and hospitable to guests. The entire resort - the pools, the grounds, the rooms - is beautiful. We ate at Frank & Albert's and at the main pool, and the food was great. I could not have been more pleased with my most recent stay.

  I always visit Arizona in August for my mother's birthday - so I always make time to spend a couple of days at the Biltmore when I can take advantage of fantastic off-season rates for this top-rated historic resort. I just love everything about being there: the rooms, the grounds, the staff, the spa, the many pools to explore and try out, and the great central location if you want/need to get out into the Phoenix metro area for meetings or activities. I love this resort.
