  We were very disappointed with our experience at The Palms. The apartment - 806 - was grubby to say the least and the staff were full of themselves and unhelpful. When our kids went to borrow pool towels the girls on reception couldn't help themselves and had to make the kids feel that in lending them these threadbare rags they were doing them some kind of favor. We have stayed in several places on Maui - including Makena Surf and Kea Lani - and The Palms was easily the poorest of the bunch, by some way. Our apartment was filthy and The Palms' housekeeping strategy of only making the beds and emptying trash on a daily basis only made this worse. By the end of 7 days, we felt like we were swimming in our own filth. Given the amount of money we were paying this seemed unacceptable. At $* per night, the management of The Palms really ought to be able to pay for an - at least - average housekeeping service. Overall, we liked the location and loved the pool but found it hard to live with the knowledge that our hard earned $$'s were going to profit and not to our comfort. We wouldn't stay here again. ALSO, THIS PLACE DOES NOT HAVE A/C OR FREE WIRELESS. A/C is limited to master bedroom's in the units and wireless is only available in the lobby.

  We loved the Palms at Wailea. We stayed in 2 condo's (4 in each room). They were so roomy and the views were amazing. I enjoyed the swimming pool. I didnt want to be in a commercial hotel and this was exactly what I wanted. I would recommend this property to anyone who really wants to experience Maui on a more personal level. It was a short short walk to the beach and you could walk on the beach to the shopping malls. The kitchen had everything that a family could need. We loved to barbeque on the huge balcony overlooking either the pool or ocean view. Also great sunset views. The staff was fabulous. I loved having my bed made and the bathrooms/kitchen cleaned daily. Thank you for the most enjoyable stay. The bed in the master bedroom was the most comfortable bed I have ever stayed in besides my own.

  The palms at wailea condo was the best. it was very clean and had lots of room for our family. the staff was very helpful.

  THE PALMS AT WAILEA CONDO WAS THE BEST. IT WAS VERY CLEAN AND HAD LOTS OF ROOM FOR OUR FAMILY. THE STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL.

  Great location,the grounds are fantastic.Condo was nice and roomy.T.V was old and outdated,appliances were on the old side.Second bed set was terrible there was two of us sleeping on two twins that had to be pushed together.After a period of time they separated and you ended up on the floor!...carpets were rather worn and dirty in places.Condo just needed some updating.Pool area was nice.
