    When I first arrived I was a little disappointed, check in time is 4pm and I had to wait a couple of hours. The great thing about this hotel is it has it's own lift (lift 20), and unlike all the other locations, downtown Vail and Lionshead, this lift is not busy any time during the day, enabling quick access to the mountain without the queues. The restaurant (Adwater) is OK, not too pricey and not too fancy. Apres Ski socializing is a bit limited.

    They didn't call it a "travel agency booking fee" but they told us the extra $* charge was because we booked through travelocity!!! they also booked us in ...

    They didn't call it a "Travel agency booking fee" but they told us the extra $* charge was because we booked through Travelocity!!! They also booked us in a room with 1 king bed for a party of 3 (2 adults and a 16 year old), and didn't want to change our room because we booked through Travel agency. Every time we asked for something at the front desk, they would lookup our info in the computer and then say "Oh, you booked through Travel agency". I won't be booking any other trips through Travel agency since the hotel treats you as second class citizens.

    The location to go out skiing is A 1 with the lift right outside also being able to ski right back to hotel, also ski locker room very good. The spa is very well run and the massage I had from a young lady Amanda was the best ever. I found the signage very poor to find your way around hotel. It may help if they put map in rooms also price lists for services. I found the bar staff to be very off handed and not so welcoming and I cannot say it was because they had lots of customers wonder why?
