  I would not pay the usual rate per night, but at the discounted rate of it's not a bad deal. The place is clean, the rooms are bright, new and comfortable, although quite small. The staff is professional and courteous. When the hotel offers the discount, apparently those rooms are all interior courtyard views. While not as interesting as a street view, they are quiet. And the elevator bank is a very long distance away from the room.

  My sister and I stayed at this hotel in August 2010 and cannot say enough about our experience. The location is perfect-steps to the Stadhuset, boat rides, the city proper and Galma Stan. The staff was very atttentive with requests-extremely helpful and polite. A special shout-out to the members of the night desk staff and the manager who were very patient in giving directions! Wonderful viewes as well! Highly recommended.

  Positives: Good location if you want access to tourist sites and transportation. The room was quiet slightly bigger than some we've experienced in Sweden, and the bathroom was hands-down the most luxurious (and had a bathtub!) Staff was helpful as we were leaving when we needed duct tape to make repairs to a bag. Negatives: The bed was a little saggy. This was the only hotel of the 5 we stayed in during this month in Sweden in which we had to pay for internet (and at 199 SEK per 24 hours!) We were doubled charged for one 24-hour period (which was quickly fixed.) Our reservation specifically referenced that the room was for 3 people (2 adults and 1 child), yet we were told we'd have to pay more for the extra bed. (Devious as we had a non-cancellable, prepaid rate.) This was subsequently resolved by the person checking us in after a lengthly departure to discuss this with her supervisor. The staff seemed to want to be helpful but they were stuck working with rules that left them compromised and defensive. (I'd guess that we weren't the first people that were told that our guaranteed rate wasn't really the rate.) The lobby is charm-less. Summary: While everything was satisfactory in the end, it required more hassle and expenditure than we've experienced in other establishments in Sweden. If you're staying here, you'll be comfortable enough, but there are better choices in this neighborhood.

  I was recently staying at the Sheraton Stockholm Hotel. The building look awful from outside, but inside all stuff and the interior design give an extraordinary touch. The room was cosy and the entire stay was totally pleasant and unforgettable. Like to stay here next time I am visiting Stockholm.

  Walking distance to old town, royal palace, lake and central station, the location of this hotel is great to explore this city. I was pleasantly surprised by the restaurant over there (try lamb specialities). Rooms are lot bigger from european standards and fairly well decorated. Limited choices on TV (42" LCD), buy hey who's watching...
